Mike — Lil Regie founder

With a background in running tech conferences, Mike co-founded Lil Regie with a clear vision: create an event platform that’s both technically robust and user-friendly. As the organizer of Webstock, he understood firsthand what event managers need, and built Lil Regie to meet those demands. His deep understanding of both the technical and user experience sides of event management continues to shape our platform’s evolution. When he's not working on making events easier to manage, you’ll find him out for a run or spending time with his family.

Steve — Software Engineer

With over 20 years of experience as a sfoftware engineer, Steve brings deep expertise in building secure and reliable systems to Lil Regie. Having joined the team in 2012 as a contractor before becoming a proud co-owner, he's been instrumental in the company's growth and technical foundation. When not focused on improving Lil Regie or spending time with his family, Steve unwinds by crafting beautiful pieces through his woodworking projects.

Juri — Web Developer

With over 15 years of Ruby on Rails expertise, Juri is a driving force behind Lil Regie’s feature development. His extensive experience shines through in every line of code, with a particular focus on privacy and security — ensuring your data is protected with the same care he’d want for his own. When he’s not crafting code or exploring new tech, you'll find him enjoying quality time with his family, practicing karate, or unwinding with his favorite computer games.

Tim — UX/UI

With over 20 years designing intuitive user interfaces and experiences. His handy work has been used by millions of people (including most of NZ from his time as lead designer at Trade Me). He’s known for making the most complex task seem not only simple, but enjoyable. When he’s not designing, he’s restoring vintage BMXs and building life-size Star Wars characters & props (Original Trilogy of course!)

Renata — Marketing

With over 15 years of marketing expertise, including her time as a product marketer at Sony, Renata brings a sharp customer focus to Lil Regie’s digital presence. She masterminds our content strategy, advertising, and website messaging to ensure you always have the information you need. When she’s not crafting compelling content, you’ll find her spending time with her family, practicing karate, exploring languages, or strumming her ukulele.

Jess - QA Specialist & Content Creator

With a keen eye for detail and a way with words, Jess ensures our platform runs smoothly as our dedicated QA specialist and content creator. She’s the mastermind behind many of our help articles and puts every new feature through rigorous testing before it reaches our users. Known for her thorough scrutiny and clear communication, she helps maintain the high quality our users expect.
